What is HPV?

Human Papillomavirus — a common virus, often clears spontaneously, but persistent infection with high-risk strains can cause cell changes.

Should I be worried about an HPV-positive result?

Most HPV infections clear without treatment. Persistent HPV with cell changes is what matters; CervicalCheck monitors for that.

Do you arrange colposcopy?

Colposcopy referrals come from CervicalCheck directly. We can write a supporting letter to your usual treating doctor where appropriate.
