How the photo review works

  1. Book a slot — €34.99 flat fee.
  2. Upload up to four well-lit, close-up photos of the affected area before your consultation.
  3. Speak to the Online Doctor over video. They will review the photos with you, ask about timeline and triggers, and agree a treatment plan.
  4. Prescription (if needed) goes via HealthMail to your nominated pharmacy.

Frequently asked questions

Can you prescribe stronger acne medication?
Yes — topical retinoids, oral antibiotics for acne, and combined hormonal contraception for hormonal acne. Isotretinoin requires dermatology supervision; we can refer.
Will the photos be kept secure?
Yes — photos are uploaded over an encrypted connection, stored in the secure patient record, and accessible only to the treating clinician.
I have a mole I am worried about — can you help?
We can triage by photo and refer urgently for in-person dermoscopy if anything looks suspicious. Online photo review is not a substitute for biopsy where indicated.
Do you treat hair loss?
Yes — male-pattern hair loss, female-pattern hair loss, and post-illness telogen effluvium. Treatments include topical minoxidil and, where appropriate, oral options.
How quickly will I have results?
Treatment plans are agreed on the call. Most prescription dermatology medications take 4-12 weeks to show effect — we will book a follow-up to review.
How much does it cost?
€34.99 per consultation including photo review and prescription where appropriate.
