What the certificate says

• Your name and date of consultation
• Statement of fitness for duties (or fitness with listed accommodations)
• Recommended return date
• Doctor name, IMC number, and signature

Phased-return wording

If your role allows, the Online Doctor can document specific phased-return recommendations: reduced hours, alternated days, light duties, or a graduated return over 2–4 weeks. This gives HR clear, actionable guidance.

What we will not certify online

• Roles requiring statutory medical examinations (HGV/PSV drivers, divers, pilots)
• Safety-critical roles requiring physical-fitness testing
• Returns from major surgery where in-person examination is needed
