Every doctor practises within their scope under the IMC's Guide to Professional Conduct & Ethics, prescribing in line with HPRA and HSE guidance. Your treating doctor's name and IMC registration number appear on your consultation record and on every prescription, sick cert or letter we issue — so you always know exactly who has cared for you, verifiable on the public IMC register at medicalcouncil.ie.
